India's leading commercial director Priyadarshan was reported greatly impressed by reigning model-turned-actress Reema Sen's stunning performance in Selvaraghavan's recent fantasy adventure Aayirathil Oruvan.

After watching the film, Priyadarshan immediately rang up Reema Sen to congratulate her for this awe-inspiring performance. He reportedly also offered her a meaty role in his upcoming project. More details are awaited.

Meanwhile, her Aayirathil Oruvan landed in legal trouble after Chozhar Peravai president T.V.K. Azhagiri filed a petition in the City Civil Court for portraying the Chola dynasty in a derogatory manner. The petition, which included the Censor Board as a defendant for certifying the film, has also sought a ban against the film. The case is adjourned to February 17. Notice has been sent to the producer and the Censor Board to file their replies.
