Aval Peyar Tamilarasi, directed by Meera Kathiravan, starring Jai and debutante Nandagi in the lead roles will probably grace theatres on February 26. The film was awarded a U/A certificate by the Censor Board recently.
Produced by Moser Baer & Blue Ocean Entertainment, the film is set in the backdrop of a village. Meera has been very clear that it is an intense love story within the commercial framework without unnecessary masala elements. It recounts the story of a young man who goes in search of his childhood love.
Music has been scored by Vijay Antony. Editing by Raja Mohamed; P.G. Muthi is the cinematographer. The other cast includes Ganja Karuppu, Theodre Bhaskara, Veera Santhanam and Rama.
